NSW: Reverence gives way to revelry as two-up begins

Anzac Day is a morning for solemn remembrance .. but by mid-afternoon .. reverence
gives way to revelry.

The annual march through downtown Sydney had barely wrapped up .. when hordes of onlookers
started their march in the opposite direction .. towards the two-up tournaments in pubs
around the city.

At the Australian Hotel in The Rocks .. hundreds of people were crammed in and spilling
on to the street .. as tipsy two-up players waved money above their heads and shouted
out their bets.

Several unlucky punters were punished with a round of public push-ups .. as the crowd counted on.
