FED:New homebuilding tumbles
Figures just out show builders started work on less than 40 thousand homes in the September
quarter .. a 13 per cent drop on the previous three months.
Economists had expected a fall of five per cent.
It's by far the weakest quarter this year .. and means new home building grew by just
12 per cent in the 12 months to September.
